Welcome back to school Portage staff and students! Let's take a look at how construction has progressed over the summer break.
With the scaffolding now removed by the masons, you can get a better look at the brickwork on the school's exteriors.
Both elementary schools have continued to receive interior framing - downstairs at Haverhill and upstairs at Central. Haverhill will get its upstairs framing over the next couple of weeks.
And finally, both schools now have the framing for their entrance canopies! Further down the road, the canopies will be enhanced with design elements such as metal panels and wood fascia.
In other construction news, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems have begun to be installed. Additionally, door and window frames have started to arrive and be installed.
